PEACE WEEK

This International Peace Day, IAS hoped to strive towards peace as community. We hoped to inspire ourselves and those around us to be compassionate and sensitive to the suffering of others through the theme of 'Shaping Peace Together'. Peace does not require grand strides. Individual steps in the right direction can help us achieve great things.

IAS WORLDVIEW

Through the IAS Worldview series, we keep our community informed of all the notable international events around the globe. From science and technology to health and the environment, this is a regular series that takes us one step forward in our mission to create global citizens in our community.

Breast Cancer Awareness

International Days

IAS ensures that the FCCU community is up to date with all international awareness and celebration days, in order to keep them in stride with world events so they are always informed and aware on all fronts regarding pressing issues but also celebrations.

Virtual Scavenger Hunt

Taking a creative turn during the pandemic, IAS hosted a scavenger hunt that participants could enjoy from the safety of their homes during lockdown. We aimed to keep our community entertained and motivated.

Virtual Trivia Competition

A virtual twist on an old classic! Using platforms like Kahoot, the IAS team organized an interesting and informative trivia session with questions related to current events, international celebrations and notable historical events that changed the world.

Virtual Fiesta

Wrapping up the tumultuous 2020 on a positive note, IAS organized a Virtual Fiesta to get everyone in the holiday spirits. Featured were musical performances and poetry recitals from the very talented FCCU community, showcasing their skills and giving them a platform to express themselves.
