CT FCCLA will be providing a virtual event experience for 2023. Members will have a chance to submit their presentations electronically for evaluation prior to the March 31 virtual Spring Leadership Conference date. On March 31, recognition will be provided for STAR Event participants highlighting their Gold, Silver, or Bronze placement and announcing the top-highest scorers from each event and level who earned the opportunity to represent CT FCCLA in competition at the National Leadership Conference this summer in Denver, CO!
During registration, members may register for all STAR Events available in the 2022-2023 National FCCLA STAR Events Guidelines.

During registration, advisers will be prompted to provide a URL that will allow CT FCCLA staff and evaluators to find and view event materials. The URL provided must be easily accessible for anyone with the link to view all documents. Documents that require the evaluator to download to view will not be scored. Acceptable URLs include chapter website pages with event files embedded, Google Folder links, Dropbox Folder links, OneDrive folder links, etc. Each event entry should have its own URL.
Tip: Prior to registration, set up a folder for each STAR Event entry your chapter will submit during registration. Folder settings should be set so that anyone with the link can view the contents of the folder. Share this URL during registration and ensure that all required documents for the event are uploaded and ready for evaluation prior to the evaluation window (March 16-23, 2023). This will alleviate stress for your students on rushing to finish their events prior to your chapter's registration. However, if materials are not uploaded prior to the posted evaluation window, the participants will be disqualified and their entry will not be scored.
