Jimmy Carter was born on October 1 1924. He was born and has lived forever in Plains Georgia. His real name is James Earl Carter Jr. He is 5’ 10” tall. That is as tall as Taylor Swift.

So you might be wondering how old he is? He’s 100 years old!

Jimmy Carter loves peanuts. He even has a peanut shaped pool! The reason he likes peanut’s so much is because he had a peanut farm when he was growing up. He also sold peanuts as a kid.

Jimmy Carter was the 39th President Of the United States of America (USA). His presidential term lasted from 1977 -1981. Carter was in the navy. He went to college at Georgia Tech. Carter is also a Nobel Prize winner. His wife’s name was Rosalyn Carter. She died one year ago. He and his wife have three sons and one daughter. He’s currently in hospice care at his home. This means that there are doctors and nurses who take good care of him while he’s at home.

Carter is the oldest living president in history. He has accomplished many things and is a leader who has done many good things.

Christmas Sugar Cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

½ cup unsalted butter at room temp]

½ cup firmly packed light brown sugar

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 ¼ cups semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat to 350.
Line baking sheets with parchment paper and sift dry ingredients together.
In one bowl beat together butter and sugars until smooth.
Then add the egg and vanilla extract and mix.
Add flour mix.
Do not over mix.
Add chocolate chips.
Freeze the dough.
If warm, use ice cream scoops to drop dough on baking sheets
Bake one at a time until bottoms and edges are browned.

Fun fact: Small cookies bake 8-10 mins, large cookies 10-13 mins. Cool your cookies for 5 minutes.

⭐🦃Macy's Day Parade🦃⭐

The Macy’s Day Parade is a special parade held only in New York City on Thanksgiving Day. It is a very busy time in New York City just because of how popular the parade is, and it is super close to christmas time.

The first parade was in 1924, and it has been going on for around 100 years! The Macy's Day Parade is actually free, however it is first come first served. Many people tend to be there around 6:00 in the morning or earlier. The Macy's Day Parade takes around 3 hours, so make sure you have enough time! There are several hotels around the parade route right by the Macy's Day Parade. So if you don't want to wake up too early and walk, you can get rooms in the hotel and get front row seats!

With more than 5,000 volunteers, 17 featured character balloons, 22 floats, 15 heritage and novelty balloons, more than 700 clowns, 11 marching bands, 10 performance groups, and performances by some of today's biggest music stars.

Atlanta United Vs Inter Miami

On Saturday November 9th, Atlanta United played Lionel Messi and Inter Miami at Chase Stadium in Miami. At the start of the game Atlanta United only had a 5% chance of winning. Lionel Messi is one of the best players in the world and he is a tough challenge to play against. Inter Miami scored their first goal in the seventeenth minute of the game! But…Atlanta United scored 2 goals in the 19th and the 21st minute of the match. Brad Guzan the goalkeeper for Atlanta United made some awesome saves in the first part of the game. This meant that Atlanta United were winning 2-1 at half time.

The second half of the game started really badly for Atlanta United. Inter Miami were all over them. They kept pressuring the players and eventually it paid off. Lionel Messi headered the ball into the goal. It was now 2-2. Atlanta United did not give up, they kept pushing and pushing. In the 76th minute Bartosz Slisz scored an incredible goal for Atlanta United. They managed to hang on until the final whistle and win the game!

Atlanta Utd beat Inter Miami and defeated the best player in the world. It was an amazing game and I wish I could have been there. They now have to play Orlando City on November 24th.I hope Atlanta Utd beat them!

College Football Playoff Rankings

The college football playoff rankings are a big event that happens every year which lead into the playoffs. The history about the college football playoff rankings is interesting; here is how it started. It started in 2014 during the football season replacing another format called the BCS. It originally started with 4 teams. This year in 2024 they will have 12 teams ranked into the College Football Playoffs.

Now let’s talk about what place the colleges are in and how its determined. The rankings are announced each Tuesday and decided by a committee of people. Here are the rankings we are up to in Week 11 as of November 12, 2024:

Drake London

Drake London is 23 years old.He is a wide receiver and he plays for the falcons.They played a game with the cowboys and they won 27 to 21.Drake London was born on July 24,2001.Drake London did play basketball but he was not good.The falcons have 6 wins because Drake London he won the game for them and they lost 5 games and they has 0 ties.There were 3 people that got a concussion.He highest of how much touchdowns he got is 7 in a game.That is why they are good!!!!!!!!!
