Earth day is a holiday. This year It’s celebrated on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Now let’s learn about why we celebrate it and the history behind it.
Earth day is celebrated to keep the environment clean and healthy. To keep the environment clean you can plant plants and pick up trash.
Gaylord Nelson was a U.S. senator from wisconsin. Hewas worried about the environment. Gaylord helped organize the first Earth day on April 22, 1970.
Now you know why we celebrate Earth day and the history behind it.
For Earth day first grade is learning about the earth and doing fun things. They are going to plant plants.

The Georgia Renaissance Festival is a recreation of a 16th-century English village, filled with artisans, human-powered rides, continuous entertainment on 12 stages, and an unending variety of unique foods - many on a stick! The Georgia Renaissance Festival opens on April 12, 2025 and runs through June 1, 2025. The festival hours are 10:30am to 6:30pm. Rain or shine the festival will still be open plus there is free parking! The Georgia Renaissance Festival covers a large area, spanning 32 acres (130,000 m2). Saint Patrick was born in Roman Britain. At age 16, Saint Patrick was kidnapped by some Irish raiders and taken to Ireland, where he spent 6 years as a slave. After escaping to Britain and becoming a Christian, he returned to Ireland as a missionary, playing a role in spreading Christianity there.
St. Patricks Day is celebrated on March 17th, the traditional date of his death. Wearing green is a common tradition, with the color symbolizing Irish heritage and luck. St Patrick's favorite food is grains like oats, dairy and vegetables like cabbage and onions, along with wild greens and fruit. St Patrick's real name is Maewyn Succut. On St. Patrick's Day people go to parades, wear shamrocks and celebrate all things Irish.
The day before St. Patrick's Day you make a trap to catch a Leprechaun. Sometimes it is very hard to catch a Leprechaun. Sometimes you catch one, sometimes you don't. Did you celebrate St. Patrick's day?

1939 is when the phrase appeared in an article by a man named Harry Porter ,an Illinois high school athletics administrator.He was referring to 8 teams that were competing in a tournament. It would almost 50 years later
that the NCAA tournament became known as March Madness.
Lets talk about two of the most watched players in the
womens NCAA tournament,Paige Bueckers,and Juju Watkins.
Paige bueckers is 23 years old and she is a point guard for the UConn Huskies.Can you believe that she is 6ft.
