Elfy
The gym has a new elf this year named Elfy. Elfy was Coach B’s home elf but recently got promoted to the gym elf. Elfy moves around the gym and is usually hard to find. Also, Elfy spends a lot of time in the warm tree and looks very strong because he is able to hang from the branches for a long time.
Warm Tree
The warm tree is like a Christmas tree and the food drive at the same time. It's a way to spread Christmas cheer by warming up people who can't afford hats, mittens, jackets, and sweaters. You can bring gently used and new clothing to give away, which you probably heard on the announcements.
Stars
In the gym we have new things called stars. When you are in the gym with another class you have a chance to earn them. Stars are determined by your P.E performance and the class with the most stars by the end of the month gets a special prize.
Hopefully now that you have read this, it will be easier to manage all the changes in the gym.
The Holiday sing along happens in December. Every grade does a song about Christmas Kwanzaa, or Hanukkah. The Holiday Sing Along happens on the last week of school before Winter Break. This all happens by Mrs. Walker. The day every grade will know is when they are all in the gym around November. When you have Music, Mrs. Walker will teach you about the song you're singing. Mrs. Walker will show you the song then you will sing it. Then every time you have Music you will learn the music until the Sing Along. Then when the Sing Along comes you will go to the cafeteria and when it's your turn your grade will sing their song.
