Applied mathematics is crucial in various fields because it provides the quantitative tools necessary for solving real-world problems. It serves as the language of science, engineering, economics, and many other disciplines, allowing researchers and professionals to model, analyze, and predict phenomena.
Comparison between Delaunay and Voronoi based structures
Recently, we've been working on a qualitative comparison between two structures made equivalent by using the same amount of material, all while maintaining the mathematical duality among Delaunay triangulations and Voronoi tessellations. We have gathered the necessary tools and methods needed to obtain the 3D models that meet the proposed requirements. We also have already printed several prototypes and test samples with great success.
