Welcome to the FBHS Culinary Arts Department!


Beginning Culinary Arts: Is our Introductory Class.  In this class, students focus on safety & sanitation, very basic cooking terms & techniques, recipe reading, nutrition, and receive their Food Handler Certificate.

Advanced Culinary Arts:  In this class, students will learn to apply professional cooking terms & techniques, properly use & clean common kitchen equipment, prepare basic recipes to meet quality standards, identify key characteristics of good quality customer service, work as part of a team to prepare & serve a meal, research International Foods, food preservation, and obtain their Food Manager Certificate.
