If you are interested in participating in the FadeIT shared task, please write to us at fadeit2026[at]gmail[dot]com indicating provisional team members and the subtasks of potential interest. We will send to you the link to join the dedicated Google Group, where you can keep in touch with us and ask any shared task-related questions. You will also find information about how to obtain the data (from September 22th, 2025, see important dates). We strongly encourage participation of both research and industrial teams, including students and individuals from foreign countries.
Note that registration is non-binding but participation implies:
submitting your predictions (max 3 per subtask, see task description) during the evaluation window (see important dates);
writing a report (paper of max 6 pages following a format to be made available soon by the EVALITA organizers) that summarizes your proposed method(s), the data resource(s) used, details on the experiments, including preprocessing/hyper-parameter tuning, and an analysis of the results. The report has to be sent to task organizers (see important dates) and, if accepted, it will be officially published in the EVALITA workshop proceedings.
