Greetings WMS Band Families!
As members of the Winburn Bands, all students are expected to practice 15 minutes a night. We feel that the best practice involves the following elements:
- A consistent warm-up that is focused on steady air and tone (breathing, buzzing, long tones)
- Daily technique practice (lip slurs, scales, articulation/tonguing)
- Goal-oriented work on classroom materials (What would you like to improve from your book work today?)
