GT Annual Survey

The Gifted and Talented Department values your input on gifted education in Fayette County Public Schools. Each year, as part of state regulations (704 KAR 3:285 Section 5), we conduct a survey to gather feedback from students, parents/guardians, and faculty about their experiences and attitudes toward our gifted programs and services provided.

From April 13 to April 30, 2026, we invite you to participate in this brief online survey: Survey Link. Your insights are essential in helping us enhance gifted and talented services across the district.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your school’s Gifted and Talented resource teacher or contact the District Gifted and Talented Department.

Meadowthorpe GTAP Open House

Meadowthorpe is a Gifted and Talented Accelerated Program that Wellington students are districted to with gifted identifications in General Intelligence, Language Arts/Reading, and Math.

SCAPA Bluegrass Open House

Families with students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade, SCAPA Bluegrass will be hosting an Open House for information about the wonderful opportunities at their school.

Hello! My name is Catey Steele and I am honored to be the gifted and talented resource teacher at Wellington Elementary. I have had the pleasure of teaching at Wellington since 2017. I taught 5th grade for three years and 4th grade for two years here at Wellington. This school is very special to me.
