Hello TALME families! My name is Leigha Checa and I am am the District Mental Health Specialist. I work with students that need someone to talk to about their feelings and emotions and teach them skills to manage them in a healthy way. In order to foster trust with the student, information shared during sessions will be kept confidential between the student and myself, with the exception of special circumstances, such as a threat to self or others.

Parent/Guardian permission is required for a student to receive these services. If you would like your child to receive counseling services, please complete one of the Consent Forms below.

After the Consent Form is completed you may schedule a time to meet by clicking the calendar icon in the picture below. We can set up a meeting in person, telephone or via zoom based on what works best for you. I'm so excited for this school year and I look forward to meeting with you!
