What is Green Team?🤔

Green Team is a fun STEM program that a lot of Fayette County Schools participate in. Every year some schools take about 25 students and have them form a green team. We do many things including energy audits for our building, complete an STLP project (this website is ours for 2025), and take apart and build a solar powered car. Once they are completed all schools come together and race each other. Then they start it over next year. This year we also decided to continue a project our grade completed last year. We are taking our Corsi-Rosenthal box fans and putting new filters on them for each classroom. It has been a huge task, but we are getting it done one fan at a time. 

Every year at Rise we choose 25 students from 4th grade. Both 4th grade classes can sign up to do Green Team. Students do green team because its fun and you can work with other students and other people like to watch the race, help our school, also this year we are making the first ever green team website! Next year the next green team can change the website and make new things and reuse this website.
