Reese Family Scholarship a Legacy Opportunity for 2026 Seniors

The Reese Family Scholarship awards six seniors a $5,000 scholarship each to support their education at a 2-year college, 4-year university, or trade school.
Eligibility:
Graduating high school senior (Class of 2026)
Minimum 2.5 GPA
Enrolled in an accredited school for summer or fall 2026
KYTC Civil Engineering Scholarship
Application Deadline: February 1st, 2026
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet offer scholarship opportunities to students who are interested in in pursuing Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology & Construction Management.Students who are chosen for the Civil Engineering or Construction Management program can receive up to $59,200* (before taxes) and those chosen for Civil Engineering Technology can receive up to $14,800* (before taxes). We also provide summer employment & full-time employment after graduation. (*depending on the # of years in school)
**Students must attend UK, UL, or WKU for Civil Engineering / NKU, EKU, WKU, Morehead State, & Murray State for Construction Management / BSCTC for Civil Engineering Technology
KASBO Business or Education Major Scholarship
Application Deadline: Must be received by December 15, 2025
KASBO will be awarding (4) $2,500 scholarships to Kentucky high school graduating seniors who will major in business or education.
All applicants must obtain two (2) letters of recommendation. One recommendation must be school-related, and one recommendation must be either community-related or church-related. Letters of recommendation must be submitted through the link provided on the webpage.
Finalists will be contacted to schedule an interview. Interviews are conducted virtually.
The application and letters of recommendation must be received by December 15, 2025.
Scholarship recipients will be selected and notified no later than March 31, 2026.

The University of Texas at Dallas - The Eugene Mcdermott Scholars Program
Application Deadline: Apply to UT Dallas well before Dec. 1, 2025. Then program application is Dec. 1, 2025 at 3:59:59 PM CT.
The Eugene McDermott Scholars Program (EMSP) is a four-year, full-ride undergraduate merit scholarship program for domestic and international students in all majors. Scholars join a community of peers dedicated to academics, service, and leadership, working hard to improve themselves and UT Dallas.
Eligibility:
First-time-in-college first-year student admitted for the fall term immediately following high school graduation (no gap years, no transfers).
Applied to UT Dallas (with supplementary documentation) and the McDermott Scholars Program by the deadlines.
In the top academic tenth of the UT Dallas entering class of 2026 and offered an Academic Excellence Scholarship (AES) award.
Morehead State University Kentucky Scholarships
Morehead State awards more than $48.6M in University and MSU Foundation scholarships and grants annually. MSU offers a variety of scholarships based on several criteria, including academic excellence, area of study, type of student, where you live and your needs. The information linked applies to new students for the 2026-2027 school year.

The Coolidge Scholarship is an annually awarded, full-ride, presidential scholarship that covers a student’s tuition, room, board, and expenses for four years of undergraduate study. The Coolidge Scholarship may be used by recipients at any accredited college or university in the United States. Anyone of any background, pursuing any academic discipline of study, may apply to this non-partisan, need-blind, program.

Spectrum News High School Scholars
The Spectrum News 1 High School Scholars Program recognizes exceptional high school students with academic scholarship awards of $1,000 each for use towards college expenses.
Nominees must adhere to the following criteria to be considered:
High school seniors
Attend a high school in Kentucky where Spectrum News 1 is available
Have an excellent academic record
Involved in extra-curricular activities and/or be active in their local community either through their school or volunteering on their own time
Have plans to attend a university in 2026
Nominators must be 18 or older and CANNOT be the parent/guardian of the student. Each nominator may only nominate 1 individual.
Post Secondary/Trade School Scholarship
Application Deadline is February 15, 2026
Bluegrass REALTORS®’ Community Education & Outreach Committee is proud to award up to 10 scholarships at $2,000 each to high school seniors for the 2026 school year.
Eligibility/requirements for scholarships:
High school senior - graduating in the academic school year of 2026 - in the Association's jurisdiction (see above for counties)
Attendance to a post-secondary institution or trade school program in Kentucky
Must complete an essay (approx. 300 word) – what is the importance of homeownership/value of owning a home?
Preference given to students who plan to major in business and/or real estate related field of study or attend a trade school.

Scholarships Awarded in April 2026
The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients with the opportunity to achieve their goals and graduate college debt-free. The scholarship provides $2,000 to help pay for essential items to attend college and up to $7,500 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters. Free workshops, Free Schwab Brokerage Accounts, and Free Study Abroad provide recipients with a practical understanding of important life skills not typically covered in the school curriculum. Hagan Scholars have attended 745 colleges and universities located in 50 states and the District of Columbia and have studied abroad in 58 countries.
Must have a 3.5 GPA
Must enroll in a four-year college or university the fall semester following high school graduation.
Must maintain a four year or less graduation schedule.
Is awarded, must work 240 hours from January 1, 2026 to September 1, 2026.
Parents Adjusted Gross Household Income must not exceed $100,000
Must apply for Federal or State grants if eligible.
