Kentucky Federation of Republican Women Scholarship
Application Deadline: March 31st, 2027
The Kentucky Federation of Republican Women (KFRW) will seek to grant one scholarship in the amount of $1,500.00 to a college-bound high school senior girl who has been politically active within the Republican Party during her high school career. The qualified applicant will graduate from a Kentucky high school in 2025, is a registered Republican and plans to enroll at an accredited college or university in Kentucky. The full application must be completed and mailed.

The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients with the opportunity to achieve their goals and graduate from college debt-free. Parents’ Adjusted Household Income must not exceed $125,000. The scholarship provides $1,000 to help purchase essential items for college and up to $7,500 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters. Free workshops, free Schwab Brokerage Accounts, and free Study Abroad opportunities provide recipients with a practical understanding of important life skills not typically covered in the school curriculum. Hagan Scholars have attended 745 colleges and universities located in all 50 states and the District of Columbia and have studied abroad in 64 countries.

Application Deadline: Tuesday, December 1, 2026 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time
This is a full-ride, four-year, merit scholarship that recipients may use for undergraduate study at any accredited college or uniceristy in the United States. Any high school junior who plans to enroll in college in the fall of 2028 and is an American citizen or legal permanent resident is eligible to apply. Winners may use the scholarship to pursue any academic major.
The summer before their senior year of high school, newly-selected Coolidge Scholars spend several orientation days at the picturesque birthplace of the President, Plymouth Notch, Vermont. There scholars get to know Coolidge and his world and return to Plymouth Notch for a week each summer while in college.

In order to be eligible for this program, students must:
Be a high school junior (senior class of 2028).
Have at least a cumulative 3.0 G.P.A. (unweighted 4.0 scale) through their sophomore year. (Any student who attains a 3.0 G.P.A. by the end of the fall semester of their junior year may submit a late nomination by January 15th, 2027.)
Have held TWO LEADERSHIP ROLES to which they were chosen by their peers or an adult leader within the past two years in school, religious or community sponsored organizations.
Students must participate in each of the following activities:
Completion of the online application form.
Virtual orientation for information about the program, photography session and photographic displays.
Be photographed by Holifield Photography for school banner as well as regional media recognition.
Attendance at the Leadership Seminar & Awards Ceremony co-sponsored by Asbury University, Bluegrass Community and Technical College, Eastern Kentucky University, Georgetown College, Midway University and Transylvania University.
