Relocation Programs: Financial assistance is available to assist clients who are temporarily or permanently displaced from their homes due to housing code violations or for tenants who are permanently displaced from their homes due to redevelopment or scheduled demolition. Residents must have a condemnation notice issued by Code Enforcement to be eligible for services. Contact our office at (859) 300-5300 for more information or to make an appointment.
Emergency financial assistance: Call (859) 300-5300 to schedule an appointment for financial assistance with rent, mortgage and/or utility costs.
Utilities: Financial assistance is available for residents who risk service disconnection due to delinquent LEXserv billing accounts.
Housing repair assistance program: Lexington Code Enforcement works with property owners to bring their properties into compliance with the International Property Maintenance Code and the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government Code of Ordinances in the shortest time frame possible, ensuring a safe and beautiful Lexington.
Case management and representative payee program: Our team of social workers offer voluntary supportive services designed to empower & benefit residents with meeting their basic human needs and self-sufficiency while maintaining independence in the community. The focus of case management is to serve vulnerable adults who have the potential to become victims of abuse, neglect, exploitation, and self-neglect.
