August 19, 2023 * With help from our community partners, we officially have an ARBORETUM TREE WALK!
Last years 5th grade STLP Team, the Tree-O, came to see their work finally come to fruition. They created the database for all of our trees, educated students, and learned the science about the importance of our trees. I am SOOOO proud of them! Liam Volland, Liam Ryker, Charleigh Duvall, and Christopher Ward will always remember their part in this project.

Planting with the Principal 2022
On Friday, October 14, 2022, we planted a new Beech tree with Mrs. Spencer, our principal. "Trees Lexington" provided Julius Marks Elementary . Beach Street and all of 5th grade in Julius Marks has now planted it It is located in the middle field next to the playground. The Beech Street is now named "Tree-sa" and We hope she'll thrive through many years with Julius Marks.
