What is GTAP?
GTAP is the Gifted and Talented Accelerated Program. This accelerated program offers a full-time service for academically and intellectually gifted and talented students in grades 4-8.
Where is GTAP located?
GTAP sites include Ashland, Meadowthorpe, and Tates Creek elementaries and Tates Creek and Winburn middle schools.
Attendance is based on the student's primary residence. If a student's primary residence is districted to JLA, students would attend Meadowthorpe and Winburn.
After completion of GTAP in 8th grade, students may continue at the Liberal Arts Academy at Henry Clay High School.
What are the requirements for acceptance to GTAP?
Students need a gifted identification in the areas of general intelligence, math, and reading.
How do I apply for GTAP?
An interest application will be open from _________________________on the FCPS website. Families must use this application if they are interested in GTAP.
When will I know if my student was accepted into GTAP?
Offer letters will be sent on the dates listed below:
