GTAP is a full-time, self-contained gifted and talented service option located at TCMS.

Students who are formally identified as GT in the areas of language arts/reading, math, and general intellectual ability are eligible for this program.

The core curriculum is compacted and differentiated as needed to meet the abilities, needs, and interests of each student.

GTAP provides

• Acceleration and enrichment of content

• Differentiation by content, process, product, and learning environment

• Opportunities for lateral explorations, research, and construction connections

• Critical, creative, and problem-solving skills

• Project-based learning

• Opportunities for in-depth learning, independent study, and constructing connections using real world issues and situations

• GT endorsed educators that have had additional graduate level training to meet the unique needs of GT students
