About

The Fine Arts Department was initiated by Fayette County Public Schools in 2022. It resides within the Office of Academic Services and is staffed by the Director of Fine Arts, three Instructional Specialists, an Administrative Assistant, and a contracted Project Manager. 

Approximately 250 arts educators serve over 42,000 FCPS students!

The department’s oversight includes band and orchestra; vocal, instrumental, and general music; visual art; theater; dance; creative writing/literary arts; and humanities (“History and Appreciation of the Visual and Performing Arts”). 

The Fine Arts Department staff support the teachers and students of FCPS.
