Can freshmen take Dual Credit classes? If so, what are their choices?
Most 9th do not take dual credit beginning in Aug. There is no funding for 9th grade core, but they do have funding for CTE.
In January, students in Computer Lit or Intro to Media Arts may transition to the dual credit version of that course, once we see how well they perform in high school and how well they are at turning work in on time. We do not want a 9th grader to mess up their college transcript if they are not ready for a college course.
