Library Hours

8:35 AM - 8:55 AM : Open for students who need to return, renew, or check out a book.

8:55 AM - 9:05 AM : Closed during news broadcast.

9:05 am - 3:50 PM :  Open for scheduled classes, small groups, and students with a library pass. 

Student Responsibilities

• Students are responsible for any books they borrow from the library.

• Students are advised not to share or loan items to other people.

• Fines are incurred for any item that is lost or damaged.

• Check-out privileges are suspended if a student has an overdue book or a fine for lost materials from our library.

Check-out Privileges

• Students may check out 2 books at a time, as long as they do not have any overdue books or owe fines.

• Books are check out for a 2 week period of time.  Students may renew a book as many times as they want, as long as it is not on hold for someone else.

• Book holds can be placed using Destiny Discover.

• LMS reserves the right to adjust checkout privileges on an individual basis.

• New students, who owe books or money to another FCPS library, will be limited to 1 book at a time until the book is returned or the fine is satisfied.

Student Fines

• Fines are only assessed for lost or damaged items.

• Fine amount will vary based on the replacement cost of the item.
