Normal Work Day
The building will open at 6am and close at 7:30pm daily. Please plan your work between these hours during a regular work day to ensure that custodians can secure the building.
Weekends
Your badge should work between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm on Saturday and Sunday. Please let John and Brittany know if you plan to work over the weekend via a quick text message.
Off Days During the Week
Your badge will work during regular work hours during the week even on days off. If you work in the building on an off day, please let John and Brittany know that your are planning to go in via a quick text message.
Securing the Building on Off days and During the Week
If you go into the building on an off day or on the weekends please make sure that the building is secure. Do not prop doors for extended periods of time, and set the alarm if you are the last person in the building.
Setting the Alarm
Your badge will disable the alarm on entry. If you are the last person in the building please ensure that the AV room, former CPU lab, and exterior doors are closed.
Press select to ensure that all appropriate doors are closed.
Swipe your badge before exiting and the alarm will beep.
Wait for the building to "arm" (indicated by the solid red light on the key pad).
When the light turns red and the system begins to beep you have 30 seconds to exit
If the alarm does not arm press select and return to step 3.
