The best way to get to Leipzig is by train and arriving at the Leipzig Main Train Station (Hauptbahnhof).

Leipzig does have an airport, Leipzig/Halle (LEJ), which is about 14 km away from Leipzig city center. There is a train that connects the airport to the main train station and runs every 30 minutes.
