Hi everyone! My name is Rosalinda Esther, and I am very excited to serve as the Vice President of Reporting for Beta Alpha Psi this year. I am a senior at Florida Atlantic University pursuing a dual degree in Accounting and Finance. I plan to complete my Master of Accounting (MAcc) by Fall 2028 while pursuing my CPA licensure.
Since joining Beta Alpha Psi, I can confidently say I have grown more confident as a speaker and a leader. One of the things that has surprised me most is how engaging and personable the firm presenters have been. I expected traditional lectures, but the speakers made their presentations interactive, memorable, and even humorous. Their ability to connect with the audience showed me the importance of strong communication skills in the profession. I also remember asking officers for advice on becoming a more confident public speaker. The encouragement I received and the opportunities to challenge myself helped me build the confidence to run for an officer position. That experience taught me that growth comes from stepping outside your comfort zone.
As Vice President of Reporting, I look forward to supporting our members and keeping them informed by maintaining accurate, organized, and up-to-date records while ensuring our chapter remains in good standing. Through these efforts, I hope to support our chapter's continued recognition and contribute to another successful year for Beta Alpha Psi.
