Hello everyone! My name is Esther Pinto, and I am honored to serve as President of Beta Alpha Psi during the Spring 2026 semester. I am currently a senior at Florida Atlantic University pursuing my bachelor’s degree through the Accounting Scholars Program, graduating in May 2026. Following graduation, I will be an incoming Master of Accounting (MAcc) student in Fall 2026 with a concentration in Accounting Information Systems.

Beta Alpha Psi has been an incredible resource throughout my academic journey. It introduced me to the field of accounting, helped me navigate questions about the profession, and provided valuable opportunities to connect with accounting professionals. Through these experiences, I strengthened my soft skills and secured internships with reputable accounting firms that I am excited to pursue.

As President, I am excited to continue my third semester supporting Beta Alpha Psi and helping our chapter grow. I look forward to working closely with our members, building strong connections, and making this semester meaningful and rewarding for everyone involved. Go Owls!

Hello everyone! I am thrilled to serve as Vice President for this upcoming semester! My name is Jolie Lehrman, and I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Accounting with a concentration in Accounting Information Systems. After graduating, I plan to obtain my CPA license.

Being a member of Beta Alpha Psi has been an incredible experience that has opened numerous doors for me. It has allowed me to connect with inspiring individuals and gain valuable insights into the accounting profession. Hearing from professionals who were once in my position was both encouraging and enlightening. Additionally, the networking opportunities that Beta Alpha Psi offers have been instrumental in my internship journey, enabling me to stand out by establishing meaningful connections with recruiters early on.

I am genuinely excited about the opportunity to help our chapter grow, ensuring that my peers can benefit from the same opportunities I have had. I look forward to collaborating with the Beta Alpha Psi officers, meeting new members, and creating impactful experiences for everyone involved.

Hi everyone! My name is Ashlyn Terhune, and I am excited to serve as the Vice President of Reporting for Beta Alpha Psi in Spring 2026. I am a senior at FAU majoring in accounting and plan to graduate in 2026.

As a proud member of Beta Alpha Psi, I have gained invaluable opportunities to grow professionally and personally. Through this organization, I’ve honed my leadership and teamwork skills by collaborating with like-minded peers and participating in various initiatives that enhance our understanding of the accounting and finance fields.

Hello everyone! My name is Aaron Thon, and I am honored to serve as Treasurer of Beta Alpha Psi for the Spring 2026 semester. I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance, and I expect to graduate in Spring 2027.

Beta Alpha Psi has allowed me to make numerous connections and played a key role in guiding me toward my chosen path within accounting. My goal is to grow as a leader while engaging with others who are equally passionate about accounting. I'm eager to see how this journey unfolds and to form even more lasting connections along the way.

I am looking forward to the opportunity to oversee the financial operations of Beta Alpha Psi, as well as to assist students in their journey in finding their path in accounting, as Beta Alpha Psi did for me!

Hello everyone! My name is Sandy Hua, and I’m honored to continue serving as Co-Director of Media and Marketing for the Spring 2026 semester. I’m currently pursuing my second bachelor’s degree in accounting at Florida Atlantic University, with plans to earn my CPA certification after graduation.

Through continued academic and professional experiences, I’ve reaffirmed my commitment to accounting. Beta Alpha Psi has played a key role in my development by connecting me with driven peers, mentors, and opportunities that extend beyond the classroom.

As Co-Director of Media and Marketing, I’m focused on strengthening our chapter’s presence through engaging content and by highlighting our accomplishments within the FAU community.

Hello everyone, my name is Kevin Montes Buendia, and I’m delighted to serve as a co-director of Media and Marketing for Beta Alpha Psi this Spring 2026 semester. I am currently in my final semester of the Master of Accounting program at FAU, with a concentration in Accounting Information Systems.

As part of the honors accounting program at FAU during my undergraduate studies, I was strongly encouraged to participate in extracurriculars such as Beta Alpha Psi. I’m thankful for this as it introduced me to the chapter, and through it, I was able to meet awesome peers and form connections with representatives of the firms.

Seeing as Beta Alpha Psi has greatly benefited my college experience, my goal for this semester is to help create engaging content across our social media channels that continues to bring awareness to the chapter. Through these efforts, I hope to help more students discover the benefits of Beta Alpha Psi and take advantage of the professional development opportunities our chapter provides.

Hello everyone! I am honored to serve as the Director of Community Service for this upcoming semester! My name is Natalie Hernandez, and I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Accounting at FAU.

Joining Beta Alpha Psi has been an incredibly rewarding experience that has allowed me to grow personally and professionally. Through this organization, I’ve been able to connect with professionals, build lasting relationships with peers, and gain firsthand insight into the accounting and business industries. The support, advice, and mentorship I’ve received have played a crucial role in my internship success and career development, which I hope to contribute to for others in the upcoming semester!

As Director of Community Service, I am excited to lead meaningful initiatives that give back to our community while fostering a spirit of service within our chapter. Hi everyone! I'm Maya T. Mathias and I am thrilled to serve as your Director of Chapter Events for Beta Alpha Psi this Spring 2026 semester. I am currently completing my and have recently graduated from the Accounting Scholars Program. This spring I will officially be graduating with my bachelor’s degree in Accounting at FAU. Following graduation, I will begin my Master of Accounting at FAU in Fall 2026.

Beta Alpha Psi has been a meaningful part of my college experience since my freshman year, it's the reason I switched to Accounting! Through consistent involvement in FAU's chapter, I’ve had the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally, build strong connections with fellow accounting students, and network with professionals in the field. Through this wonderful club I went from watching and learning to now being a leader in such an impactful organization. I hope to pass it forward this semester.

Through BAP's meetings about networking and interviews I've secured two internships, including my Audit and Assurance internship with Deloitte this upcoming summer.

I am incredibly excited to take on the role of Director of Chapter Events this semester and help create engaging and impactful experiences for our members. I can't wait for you all to reap the benefits I've gotten from this awesome organization!

Hello everyone! My name is Alex Price, and I'm very excited to serve as Past President of Beta Alpha Psi for the Spring 2026 semester! I am in the final semester of the MAcc program at FAU. I look forward to meeting all our new candidates and members in the Spring!

Beta Alpha Psi provides valuable opportunities to get more involved on campus, which is something I felt was missing in my online classes. I especially enjoyed meeting accounting professors, working with my peers, and hearing from accountants in the workplace. I hope our new candidates and members can have the same experience that I've had!

Beta Alpha Psi provides excellent opportunities for students to enrich their transition from university to the workplace. Through BAP, I met with accountants at the major public accounting firms, and learned more about which skills and healthy habits I could use to differentiate myself in the hiring process. I believe these experiences helped me to secure a position as an incoming EY FSO Tax associate for Summer 2026.

Outside of school, I enjoy playing tennis, exercising, and watching movies. I hope that all our candidates and members have a successful fall semester. Go Owls!
