When you think of a drone you might think of a quadcopter, however there are many different types of drones, such as UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) examples of UAVs are most often used by the military for reconnaissance or CAS (Close Air Support). However I am only registered to fly UASs (Unmanned Aircraft System) under part 107. The rules of part 107 state that you may fly a drone for educational purposes.
Here is a picture of me checking on our registration code of our drone. The registration code HAS t be on the drone to legally fly it.
