Sharing knowledge to build confidence in today's parenting world
Sharing knowledge to build confidence in today's parenting world
This space has been created as a trusted place for sharing knowledge, ideas, and support — all aimed at helping you feel confident in the ever-changing world of parenting today. As a school, we believe in working together with families to support every child’s development, both at school and at home.
Here, you’ll find a growing collection of resources and helpful tips to guide you through the primary years. Whether it’s navigating behaviour, routines, screen time, or wellbeing — our goal is to equip you with tools and understanding that make parenting feel a little more manageable, and a lot more supported.
Our aim is to add a page each week which contains a manageable amount of information with a link to a form for if you require any follow up support relating to this or if you just have any comments/advice that would support other parents.
Hi, I'm Sam Grime. As well as working at school as the SENDCo and Pastoral Lead — looking after things like behaviour, attendance, and pupil premium support — I’m also a parent. I’ve got two children at home, aged 4 and 6, so I completely understand the everyday joys and challenges that come with raising young children.
Being both a parent and a professional in school gives me a unique view of things, and I’m really passionate about bringing those two worlds together.
Hi, I'm Laura Pugh. In my role as Deputy Headteacher, I look after the curriculum in school and also support, train, and develop our amazing teaching staff. It’s a job I love because it means I get to help shape the learning that happens in the classroom — and support the people delivering it every day.
Outside of school, I’m also a mum to two boys, aged 7 and 9. Like many of you, I’m figuring things out as I go — managing the everyday challenges, questions, and decisions that come with raising children in today’s world.
I’m really passionate about creating a space where we can share ideas and experiences, so parents feel more confident and connected — knowing we’re all in this together.
