Our CRPA training track is designed for individuals who want to use their personal or family recovery experience to support others. This comprehensive program meets the foundational requirements for the NYCB credential.
The training includes:
Peer Foundations: 46 Hours
Medication Supported Recovery (MSR): 4 Hours
We know you're busy. Our program is built to fit the lives of working professionals:
100% Virtual: Live interactive sessions delivered via Zoom.
Interactive Learning: Includes breakout groups, guided practice, and real-world discussions.
Evening Sessions: Typically held in the evenings to allow for maximum flexibility.
To be eligible for the CRPA training track, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Age/Education: Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Residency: Must be a resident of New York State.
Lived Experience: Must have personal or family experience with recovery and a genuine desire to serve as a peer professional.
No Barriers: There are no income restrictions and no post-program work commitments required.
Course Cost: $650.00
Scholarships: At this time, no scholarships are available for the CRPA training track.
When registration reopens for our cohorts, you will need to submit the following:
Completed Application Form: Will be available on this page once enrollment opens.
Personal Statement: A brief narrative describing your recovery journey or your interest in peer support work.
Two Reference/Recommendation letters
We don’t just train you and leave you. While the program does not cover ASAP-NYCB credentialing fees, our team provides full guidance through the next steps:
Navigating the NYCB application process.
Understanding and meeting supervision requirements.
Providing Peer Learning Collaborative meetings monthly
