Coaching Staff

Janna Hagerty is the head coach of the Knightline program. and has an extensive dance background.  Coach Hagerty began her dance training at the age of 2 at Farmington School of Dance, transitioning to Dance Creations at the age of 11 to train under the talented Dana Pipkin-Anderson. Coach Hagerty continued training at Dance Creations throughout high school.  She was a member of Mineral Area Mascots, where she performed at various community events as well as competed in competitions across the state of Missouri. 

Coach Hagerty is a 1996 graduate of FHS and was a four year member of Knightline, where she served as choreographer and co-captain. While a member of Knightline, she qualified to perform in the Cotton Bowl, and was a performer in the 1994 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. 

Janna has been married to middle/high school sweetheart, Josh, since 1999.  They have two wonderful children, Jonah and Jersey.   In addition to being the head coach of the Knightline program for 20 years, Janna is also a Speech-Language Pathologist with the Farmington School District. On her days off from the school, she can be found working in skilled nursing facilities around the area, providing cognitive and swallowing therapy to residents who have suffered strokes. Janna is a choreography director for many high school and community theatre programs, and currently serves on the MDTA Executive Board as well as the MSHSAA Spirit Advisory Board.

Randi Burns is excited to be joining the program as a coach for the FMS Jr. Knightline dance team! Dance has been a constant thread throughout Randi’s life, from her early years in the studio to her time competing on her school dance team. Those experiences not only shaped her love for dance but also instilled in her a deep appreciation for discipline, dedication, and the power of teamwork. She is thrilled to bring that passion and perspective with her as she steps into this coaching role.

As a wife and mom of three, Randi understands just how important it is for young athletes to feel supported, encouraged, and valued. Creating a positive, uplifting environment where dancers feel confident to take risks, grow, and truly believe in themselves is at the heart of what she hopes to build. Her goal is not only to help the girls develop their skills on the floor, but also to empower them as individuals, helping them discover their strength, resilience, and confidence both in and out of dance.

Randi feels incredibly grateful for this opportunity and is so excited to get started. She can’t wait to pour into this team, build meaningful connections, and watch these dancers grow, shine, and achieve amazing things together!

Angie has spent the past 27 years teaching in the Farmington School District, where she's built strong connections with students both in and out of the classroom. A Farmington High School graduate and former Knightline member, she's always had a love for school spirit and teamwork.

That passion came full circle when she helped start the middle school Knightline program, giving younger students a chance to get involved, build confidence, and be part of something bigger. Angie enjoys coaching because it's all about encouraging kids, having fun, and helping them grow along the way.

Family is at the heart of everything she does. She and her husband have two adult children, both married and living in Farmington, and they enjoy the time they all spend together. When she’s not at school, you’ll likely find her at home, keeping up with goats, chickens, cows, and a whole bunch of dogs. Her life is a blend of dedication, community, and a whole lot of personality.
