Farmingdale Athletics Spring Sports Update-March 2, 2026
The following Middle School Spring sports will start their season March 30, 2026
Please note: Athletics requires a level of commitment to be a part of a team.This may include games and practices over breaks and/or Saturdays.

All teams will have their first practice after school at Howitt on March 30th Students must be medically cleared and dressed to try-out. Late buses will be provided
A student MUST have an updated physical on file with the health office and be cleared prior to the first day of the season to participate.
For any student in need of a sports physical, the district physician will be at the Middle school on 3/6/26. Please see your nurse to set up an appointment.
To try out or participate in any of these programs, parents must sign up their child on Family ID starting March 2, 2026 and it will close March 29, 2026

NYSPHSAA recognizes teams and individuals who excel in the classroom, and Farmingdale High School has undoubtedly proven itself to be among the best. To qualify for the School of Distinction award, all varsity teams must earn the Scholar-Athlete Team Award during their respective seasons. This means that the average GPA for 75% of each team's roster must be greater than or equal to 90.00.
