Elementary School Counselors

Parents please download the Class Dojo App for the following resources from your student's school counselor:

• Behavioral management charts and tips

• Direct contact with counselor for study/homework help

• Age appropriate chores that students can help with at home

• Age appropriate conversation guides regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic

• Schedule Check-In/Check-Out Virtual Counseling session with Ms. Ochoa as needed

• Daily activities, resources and lessons to help with your child's transition to distance learning from home

• Able to directly contact Ms. Ochoa for any questions, concerns or help during this time of learning from home

All teachers are also using the Class Dojo App to communicate with parents and students regarding the work that has been sent home. Teachers can also be reached by email and phone.

Parents and students should log on to the Google Classroom and the Zoom App for the following resources from your student's school counselor:

• Direct contact with counselor for study/homework help

• Social Emotional Learning lessons to use while at home to address behaviors

• Activities and resources to help with your child's transition to distance learning from home

• Age appropriate videos, lessons and conversation starters for students and parents while at home

• Schedule Check-In/Check-Out Virtual Counseling session with Mrs. Lamb or Ms. Villalobos as needed

• Able to directly contact Ms. Lamb or Ms. Villalobos for any questions, concerns or help during this time of learning from home

• If you believe your child is in need of long-term behavioral/mental health counseling, your child's counselor can make an electronic referral to Sequoia Youth Services and provide guidance on their virtual service model
