Pupils will use correct musical notation to compose simple melodies. They will learn how to add an instrumental accompaniment using tuned and untuned percussion instruments.
They will also prepare various musical pieces for the Christingle Service and the rehearsals for the School production in the Spring will getunderway.
Pupils will listen to programme music and design their own programme for an imaginary concert of the piece.
The Summer Term sees Prep 5 looking atstructure in music that is rondo, sonata, verse and chorus.
Use running, jumping, catching and throwing in isolation and in combination

Develop flexibility and control in gym, dance and athletics
