Welcome to the Cass County Career and Technical Center "Crash Course" in Online Training! If you are here, you are to become one of the elite instructors who have the desire, drive and ability to teach students in an online environment. The intent of this self-paced course is to give you enough basic information on tools and techniques to get started in the online world. Please read all information in this website and complete "Content Training" activities and "Tasks for Success" the semester or summer before you begin to teach an online course.

To access training modules, use the navigation on the left hand side of the screen(may show up as three lines on the top left of the browser window). Please complete either Google Classroom or Scoology(dependent on your use) and all other modules from the list below.

These check lists are designed to be a "cheat sheet" to guide steps, for selected entities, involved in the process of helping students entering an online class. Select the links below to access the pre-flight checklist that you need.
Contact should be made with your students and their parents via email the semester or summer before courses begins. Information regarding access to video conferencing, your learning management system and course expectations(with link to Student "Crash Course") should be included. This email to both parties should happen after completion of this course.
