Check in with the attendance clerk if you are late for school or if you are returning to school.
If you are going to be leaving school early for an appointment or you are going to be absent/sick, please have your parents/guardians call, text or email the attendance office to let the school know.
Parents/guardians must come in to sign students out if they leaving the school early for any reason. However, parents do not have to come in when they are dropping their students off.

Students who miss 9 days of school each year or less tend to stay on track for graduation
Missing 10% of school days can negatively affect student performance (that’s just two days a month)
Absenteeism is a predictor of dropping out of high school
Good habits start when school starts! So do bad habits: students who miss 2-4 days in August/September go on to miss nearly a full month of school each year
