Theatre classes are available for all grade levels. They are a fun way to break up your day and be creative!
Theatre Arts
Theatre Arts
This 9th grade class is a semester long course. It focuses on Improv, Basic Acting and Performance Skills. We also do a production unit and produce a one-act play.
Performing Arts 1
Performing Arts 1
This course is year long sophomore class. We focus on stylized acting, movement, and the technical aspects of Theatre.
Performing Arts 2
Performing Arts 2
This course is available to juniors and seniors. The first semester focuses on more in depth acting and directing. During second semester the students write and produce their own one-act plays (SOAPs).

Freshmen students who enter into Davies are placed into band I. There are many opportunities in band one including playing small ensembles with friends, audition for honor bands, play pep band, do our combined concert, and even travel!

Early Bird Jazz
Early bird jazz band meets three times a week before school. All instruments are welcome! Many students also take jazz I to learn a new instrument. Because it is before school, many students will take early bird if they can't fit jazz II or III into their schedule.

TREBLE CHOIR
CHORALE
All freshman singers are placed in one of these two choirs: Soprano/alto voices sing in Treble Choir, while freshman tenors/basses sing in Chorale or Mixed Choir. Both choirs meet everyday, perform in multiple concerts each year, and have many additional singing opportunities!
Concert Choir is for students in grades 11 and 12, and Vivace is an auditioned ensemble open to singers in grades 10 - 12.
