Summer Rising is New York City’s free summer plan for any child in grades K-12 who wants to participate.
Summer Rising will be available throughout the City to every New York City student, including students with disabilities.
All programs will be run by local school leaders and trusted community-based organizations.
Summer Rising programs are full-day and in-person experiences.
All programs will create a bridge back to school in the fall and give parents peace of mind as they return to work.
The environment will be safe and supportive. Staff members are prepared to respond to children’s social and emotional needs.
Summer programs will offer academic support, arts, recreation, and social-emotional support.
Breakfast, lunch, and a snack will be served to each student.
DiscoverDYCD is a web platform that enables the public to search for and apply to DYCD Programs throughout New York City. After finding a program of interest, prospective applicants can choose to create a discoverDYCD account to apply to programs directly.
INCLUDEnyc is the leading provider of training and information for young people with any disability (age 0-26) in New York City, their families, and the professionals who support them.
RESOURCES PROVIDED ARE:
NY State is accepting applications for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) which allows eligible New Yorkers to apply for up to 12 months of rent assistance and utility arrears due to the pandemic.

Free Mental Health Services through CCMH
The Program provides free virtual counseling in English or Spanish
to help children and adolescents ages 8-16 in the Bronx to develop their coping skills.
