As this history is prior to the coining of the modern term "transgender" it is ever more important to highlight the history and struggles of our Transgendered people, especially since it's Women's History Month. Episode 6: Mediation
Mediation is a process to resolve conflicts between two or more people who are unable to solve their disagreement or conflict independently. The process relies on an impartial third party, the mediator, to help individuals use communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to resolve the differences between the parties, while reaching a mutually beneficial agreement." Episode 7: Building Empathy
"In its simplest form, empathy is the ability to recognize emotions in others, and to understand other people's perspectives on a situation. At its most developed, empathy enables you to use that insight to improve someone else's mood and to support them through challenging situations.

Focusing on four core components—connection, wellness, healthy thinking, and meaning—can empower you to withstand and learn from difficult and traumatic experiences. Episode 10: Stonewall
The Stonewall Riots, also called the Stonewall Uprising, began in the early hours of June 28, 1969, when New York City police raided the Stonewall Inn, a gay club located in Greenwich Village in New York City. The raid sparked a riot among bar patrons and neighborhood residents against police, leading to six days of protests and violent clashes with law enforcement. The Stonewall Riots served as a catalyst for the gay rights movement in the United States and around the world.

Episode 11: Beyond Binary
Beyond the Binary: “For some trans individuals, gender is experienced within the binary. For others, such as gender-diverse individuals, gender is experienced as fluid and dynamic. Gender fluidity allows for the embracing of limitless possibilities as to how to conduct one’s life as it relates to gender, rather than being bound to binary roles.”
