The No. 13 Franklin & Marshall men's soccer team (7-0-6, 5-0 CC) looks to remain unbeaten on the season when it hits the road to face Johns Hopkins (7-3-3, 3-1-1 CC), a team receiving votes in the national poll, on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.

Last Week

The Diplomats went 1-0-1 last week with a 2-2 tie against Lebanon Valley and a 4-2 win over Muhlenberg. 

In F&M's final non-conference game of the regular season, the Diplomats gained an early lead with a goal from Nathan Schlessinger in the 17th minute. LVC fought back with goals in the 44th minute and 54th minute to take a 2-1 advantage. However, that lead didn't last long as Koa Kaliebe scored the equalizer in the 56th minute to extend F&M's unbeaten streak. Read the full recap here. 

The Diplomats continued rolling in Centennial Conference (CC) action with a 4-2 victory at Muhlenberg last Saturday. Jack Borden scored in the 22nd minute, but the Mules responded with a goal of their own just two minutes later to tie the game at 1-1. From that point F&M took over with three-straight goals from Kaliebe, Thomas Kaplan and Sean Lipschutz to take a 4-1 advantage into halftime. The Mules scored in the 57th minute, but the deficit was too great to overcome as the Diplomats held on to win. Read the full recap here. 

With goals in both games last week, Kaliebe was selected as the CC Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career.

Last Time vs. Johns Hopkins

The Diplomats downed Johns Hopkins, 4-3, in last season's matchup. Oscar Horwitz shined on offense, scoring all four of F&M's goals to break the program's single-season goals record. Kaliebe played a huge role in Horwitz' success as he assisted on all four goals against the Blue Jays. Horwitz also tied the program record for most goals in a single game, while Kaliebe tied the F&M record for most assists in a single match. Read the full recap here. 

Johns Hopkins Team Preview

Johns Hopkins is 2-1-1 since the beginning of October with wins coming against McDaniel and No. 19 Swarthmore. Francis Meyer leads the Blue Jays in both goals (four) and points (11) so far this season.  Will Sangpachatanaruk holds the team-lead in assist with four this year. Goalkeeper Loucas Costeas sports a 0.80 goals-against average with a save percentage of 79.4 percent.
