Last Week
The Diplomats played Elizabethtown to a scoreless draw on Wednesday in the annual Battle for the Smith-Herr Boot. Elizabethtown claimed victory over the boot for the first time since 2017 as the Blue Jays won in PK's 5-3. Thomas Kaplan led F&M in shots with four, followed by Nathan Schlessinger with three in the game. In net, Nolan Booth made three saves to keep the Blue Jays off the scoreboard. Last Time vs. Alvernia
F&M rolled to a 4-0 shutout victory over Alvernia last season. Owen Sobel '24 registered his first-career goal to give Franklin & Marshall the lead in the 11th minute. Koa Kaliebe followed Sobel's score with goals in both the 35th minute and 51st minute. The Diplomats scoring was capped in the 78th minute as Miguel Rosa found the back of the net for his first-career goal. Franklin & Marshall battled Haverford to a 1-1 tie . Trailing 1-0 in the 84th minute, Oscar Horwitz headed a crossing pass from Philip Monos into the right side of the cage to tie the game.
