The No. 19 Franklin & Marshall men's soccer team (8-1-7, 6-1-1 CC) welcomes Washington College (8-3-6, 4-2-2 CC) to Tylus Field on Saturday for the Diplomats' season finale, starting at 6:00 p.m. Before the game, the F&M men's soccer team will honor its eight senior members. Those student-athletes include: Jack Borden, Jack Nury, Adam Green, Isaac Mintz, Jake Rosenfeld, Nic Petruso, Levi Kline and Koa Kaliebe.
Last Week
Franklin & Marshall went unbeaten with a 1-0-1 record last week.
In the 2-2 tie against Dickinson, Koa Kaliebe scored in the 16th minute to tie the game up at 1-1. After a Red Devils' goal in the 55th minute, Adam Green found the back of the net in the 64th minute to knot the game up at 2-2. Green, Nico Gonzalez and Oscar Horwitz all registered assists in the game. F&M as a team outshot Dickinson, 20-19, in the contest. Read the full recap here.
F&M came back with a 4-2 victory at Gettysburg on Saturday as the Diplomats scored three times in the second half to overpower the Bullets. Connor Anderko broke the scoreless tie with a goal in the 29th minute to put the Diplomats ahead early. After Gettysburg scored to tie the game up at the end of the first half, F&M came back with back-to-back goals from Jack Nury and Green to put the Diplomats ahead 3-1. Gettysburg cut the deficit to one in the 52nd minute, but Kole Wintersteen put the game away with a score in the 62nd minute. With his 75th career start coming in Saturday's game, Isaac Mintz will break the F&M record for most games started in program history.
Last Time vs. Washington College
The Shoremen defeated the Diplomats, 2-1, in last year's matchup. Washington College went up 2-0 through 57 minutes of play. F&M cut the deficit in half with a goal in the 59th minute, but couldn't find the equalizer for the remainder of the match.
