Welcome to Faithful Fertility!!
My name is Cassie and I am a Marquette Method Teacher. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing in 2013 from Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, IN and went on to complete my Master's Degree in Nursing from the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, IN in 2017. I have been a certified family nurse practitioner for 8 years, with experience in acute care and family medicine.
I became interested in teaching the Marquette Method of NFP because of my own personal use of the method and its significant impact on my marriage. My husband and I were taught the Sympto-thermal method of NFP during marriage preparation, which involves cervical mucus monitoring and checking daily basal body temperatures. This become impractical and frustrating for us to use once we started having children close in age and while working full time.
My husband and I started using the Marquette Method after our 3rd pregnancy. We found that this method was much more accurate for us in identifying my fertile window, especially in the postpartum period and with weaning from breastfeeding. It has significantly impacted our marriage and family life and renewed our faith in NFP.
I have become passionate about spreading the news of the Marquette Method...not only because it is accurate and natural, but especially because it is a holy way to plan a family with your spouse in accordance with God's plan.
I am excited to share my knowledge with you!
