The Jubilee Fund provides practical support to abortion seekers — including transportation, hotel stays, childcare stipends, language interpretation, care packages, and all-options spiritual counseling.
We do not provide financial assistance for abortion procedures or directly schedule clinic appointments, but focus on helping Ohioans navigate other expenses and barriers associated with abortion care.
Travel Support: We provide abortion seekers with transportation support, such as gas cards, bus tickets, volunteer rides, food, childcare stipends, hotel stays, & care packages.
Emotional & Spiritual Support: Our trained clergy volunteers provide nonjudgmental, all-options counseling support for those with spiritual or religious questions about abortion, miscarriage, infertility, and pregnancy loss.
Information about Self-Managed Abortion: We regularly educate activists & abortion seekers about the safety, convenience, and effectiveness of abortion pills.
Travel Support: We provide practical support to those who complete our NEW Client Intake Form or only at the request of referring abortion clinics or key organizations involved with the Midwest Access Coalition and ineedana.com. These groups provide referrals or serve as case managers and patient navigators for abortion seekers, and we play a supportive role at The Jubilee Fund by providing local travel assistance (e.g. gas cards, bus tickets, volunteer rides, food, childcare stipends, hotel stays, & care packages). Here's an overview of our process:
1. Abortion seekers schedule an appointment with an available abortion clinic, and then completes our Client Intake Form to request practical support.
2. Clinics or other abortion funds may also contact us directly at The Jubilee Fund when an abortion seeker requests practical support.
3. When we receive a referral or a completed Client Intake Form, our team activates trained volunteers at local congregations & faith communities to provide essential support.
Emotional & Spiritual Support: Anyone navigating spiritual or religious questions about abortion, miscarriage, infertility, or pregnancy loss can complete this form to reach one of our trained clergy volunteers for nonjudgmental, all-options counseling support.
Information about Self-Managed Abortions: Activists & abortions seekers can learn more about self-managed abortion through medication by attending one of our monthly trainings or requesting an informational training anytime. Learn more and register here.
