The Jubilee Fund provides practical support to abortion seekers – including transportation, hotel stays, childcare stipends, language interpretation, care packages, and all-options counseling. We also share information about Self-Managed Abortions through medication and provide compassionate support for those with spiritual or religious questions about abortion, miscarriage, infertility, and pregnancy loss.

We do not provide financial assistance for abortion procedures or directly schedule clinic appointments, but focus on helping Ohioans navigate other expenses and barriers associated with abortion care. 

In keeping with our faith & values, we at Faith Choice Ohio are unapologetically pro-abortion. We fully support the moral agency & bodily autonomy of pregnant people and launched The Jubilee Fund to celebrate & preserve abortion access. 

Long before Roe v. Wade, clergy & faith communities organized a network of abortion referrals and practical support for pregnant people. Rooted in this historic legacy of the Clergy Consultation Service on Abortion, we are poised to mobilize faith communities once more with the complete fall of Roe. 

This is why we work primarily with churches & congregations to build a strong network of clergy & volunteers to provide abortion access in Ohio and across the Midwest. Fill out this Congregational Partner Interest Form if your faith community would like to serve with The Jubilee Fund. 

Abortion seekers deserve all the love, care, and support that each of our communities can provide. With abortion access virtually gutted across the Midwest, now more than ever people need more resources & compassionate support — not less.

Faith-based abortion funds like ours can also offer unique refuge to abortion seekers through clergy penitent privileges and religious freedom protections that safeguards the privacy & confidentiality of those seeking support from a faith leader or a religious community.

Yes! We need volunteers interested in fundraising, providing administrative support, transporting abortion seekers, and providing translation & interpretation services. Complete this Volunteer Interest Form to get involved with The Jubilee Fund.

NOTE: We require all volunteers who interact directly with abortion seekers to be fully vetted, pass a background test, and trained to be abortion positive, culturally competent, antiracist, and trauma-informed. 

Nope! While we coordinate the majority of our practical support services through congregations & faith communities, we do not require volunteers to be a congregational member or identify as a person of faith. All we ask is that volunteers be comfortable working with any local faith communities that we partner with for further training, coordination, and dispatch.
