Two section song

Create a song with 2 sections. Each section should have a similar beat, but a different melody and accompaniment. Remember, melody is the main part, and the accompaniment are the supporting instruments.

  1. Start with a rough draft of the two parts, before you make an introduction or start using more advanced tools. Each section should have a melody and accompanying instruments. Show it to the teacher before moving on.
  2. Once you have your main sections done, add your introduction and transitions. Use techniques like layering, automation, and the scissors tool to develop and shape the parts that you started with. This is the most important part of creating your song.
  3. Once you have a second draft of your song, ask one of your neighbors to listen to it. Ask them for positive feedback. Then ask the teacher for feedback on what you can do better.
  4. Make final adjustments to make your song as good as you can get it!
