Find ukulele or guitar music
Think of some songs that you would like to play on either ukulele or guitar, or an artist that you like (such as Beyoncé) to see what songs are available for that artist. Start with these websites:
Type the song/artist and "ukulele tab." For example, put into Google: "Crazy In Love Beyoncé ukulele tab"
You can look for chords or tablature, or a mixture of both, whichever you would prefer to learn. Look for a version of the song that:
Isn't too difficult for you to play
If you find a song that looks too difficult but you really want to play it, ask Mr Proctor to help you simplify it. Many songs can be transposed easily.
Is appropriate for school
Is in a format that you understand (has chord shapes or tablature that you can read)
Send an email to bproctor@fairport.org with the links to your songs. You should have at least 2 but no more than 5. The link is the URL at the top of the screen. For example, the link to this page is: https://sites.google.com/fairport.org/mrproctor/7th-grade-music/find-ukulele-or-guitar-music
