Now that you've completed your research you must answer the Essential Question:
How do the history, geographic location, agriculture, and cultural factors influence the food choices of people in a specific country or region?
To do this you willcreate a page of our class cookbook using your cited research.
See the posted Outline and Rubric below for guidelines.
Outline
After researching the food of your culture (agriculture, specific meals, ingredients, directions, and how they eat), you will create a virtual cookbook with breakfast, lunch, and dinner recipes. Your page of the cookbook will contain:
🌎Introduction
🌎At least 3 recipes showcasing important cultural ingredients (1 breakfast recipe, 1 lunch recipe, 1 dinner recipe)
🌎Graphics/ Pictures/ Photos
🌎Ending summary sharing new perspectives and understandings of the food and how it connects to that culture
🎯The class will then present their projects in a gallery walk. Each student will complete a compare/ contrast document to analyze the similarities and differences between their researched culture and other's in the class.
