Back to School Night

Greetings Fairfield Township Parent or Guardian,

We are pleased to announce that Fairfield Township School’s First VIRTUAL Back to School Night will be held on

September 23, 2020 from 6pm-7:30 pm. Please expect to receive a Back to School Night invitation from your student’s

homeroom teacher, no later than, Tuesday afternoon, September 22, 2020. The Back to School Night will provide an

opportunity for all parents and guardians to meet their child’s teacher and be provided with information and expectations

for the school year. In the event that you do not receive a Back to School Night invitation by the end of the school day,

September 22, 2020, please first check your SPAM folder. If you do not find your emailed invitation, please contact the

school office at 856-453-1882 and/or contact your child’s teacher.

Back to School Night in a great way to meet your child’s school teacher, learn more about the school year, and ask general

questions about the school year. After all, you are a partner in your student’s education. There will be three sessions held at

the Virtual Back to Night on September 23, 2020. The first session will be held at 6:00 pm., the second session will be held

at 6:30 p.m., and the final session will be held at 7:00 p.m.

Within your Virtual Back to School Night teacher invitation, you will also find the virtual classroom links for all grade level

meetings including your student’s special area teachers and your student’s support staff. The support staff consists of the

school psychologist, guidance counselor, school social worker, and Child Study Team Supervisor. In addition, all teachers

will present a short presentation from your very own administrative team. We strongly encourage you to attend ON TIME.

As a friendly reminder, Back to School Night information sessions are thirty minutes per session. We truly empathize with

any parent that would like to meet with their student’s teacher or support staff personnel to address individual concerns.

However, all instructional staff and support staff have been directed to encourage parents to request virtual meetings at a

later time. We thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

7:30 pm. In the event that you misplace this email letter, all virtual classroom links and information about the Virtual Back

to School Night will be posted on the school website at www.fairfield.k12.nj.us.
