Indiana College Core
Do you want to get a head start on college? The Indiana College Core allows high school students to earn 30 general education credits that can be transferred as a block to any public college or university in Indiana, as well as some private institutions. In other words, students who earn the College Core in high school may already be finished with their first year of college at a fraction of the cost. To learn more about the Indiana College Core and put together your plan, use My College Core (mycollegecore.org) and work closely with your school counselor.

AP courses are high school classes taught at a college level and approved by College Board. At the conclusion of the course, students take an AP exam. Students who score 3/5 or higher on the exam may receive college credit for the course. This program will provide seniors with opportunities to practice necessary skills they will need in order to experience success after high school. Students will take courses for part of the day at school and spend the other part of the day in an internship related to their career interest.

CareerWise modern youth apprentices split their time between their traditional high school classroom and the workplace. They earn a wage while receiving hands-on work experience where they can apply their classroom learning each week.
