Fairfax High Athletic Boosters Shout-Out Guidelines
Support your favorite athletes and teams with a personalized shout-out displayed on th field house big screen during home games! To ensure all messages are positive, supportive, and appropriate, please review the following guidelines before submitting your message.
1. Positive and Supportive Content
•Keep it Positive: All shout-outs must be uplifting and supportive. Messages should celebrate our athletes, teams, and the Fairfax High community.
•No Offensive Language: Offensive, derogatory, or discriminatory language is strictly prohibited.
•Stay Neutral: Please avoid any political or religious statements to maintain an inclusive environment for all.
2. Copyright and Trademark Compliance
•Original Content Only: Ensure that your message is original and does not include copyrighted material (e.g., song lyrics, movie quotes) unless you have obtained explicit permission.
•No Unauthorized Logos or Trademarks: Do not include logos, trademarks, or branded phrases in your message unless you have written authorization.
3. Photo Submission Guidelines
•Appropriate Images Only: Any photos attached to your shout-out must be appropriate, non-offensive, and in line with our community standards.
•No Photoshopped or Altered Images: Images must not be digitally altered in a way that could be misleading, inappropriate, or offensive. This includes, but is not limited to, photoshopping or inserting elements that weren’t part of the original photo.
•No Celebrity Images: Photos of celebrities, public figures, or any well-known individuals are not allowed unless you have explicit permission.
•Permission Required: Make sure that any images used are either your own or you have obtained permission from the copyright holder or individuals in the photo.
4. Pre-Approval Process
•All Messages Reviewed: All shout-outs must be submitted for review and approval by the Friday before your requested game.
•Approval: Each submission will be reviewed to ensure it adheres to our guidelines.
•Non-Refundable: Payments are non-refundable, even if your message is rejected. If your message does not meet the guidelines, we will offer the opportunity to revise and resubmit it.
5. Frequency of Display
•Multiple Display Opportunities: Depending on the number of shout-outs purchased for a game, you can expect to see your message displayed 10 + times throughout the event. This ensures high visibility and plenty of opportunities for your shout-out to be seen by the crowd.
6. Legal Disclaimer
•Liability: Fairfax High Athletic Boosters are not responsible for any content that might inadvertently cause offense or legal issues as long as the guidelines were followed during approval.
7. Submission and Payment
•Word Limit: Keep your message concise, with a maximum of 50 characters.
•Submission Deadline: All submissions must be received 48 hours before your scheduled event or game.
•Payment Method: Payments for shout-outs are processed via GiveButter. Once your message is approved, it will be scheduled for display during the game.
