This Course of Study booklet provides important information about the courses offered at Fairborn High School as well as state and local requirements for graduation, academic awards and curricular options.
Students should make course selections carefully. Being familiar with the Course of Study will help you make appropriate high school course selections. We encourage you and your parents to read through the Course of Study with your future academic plans in mind. The courses that students select should be based on their abilities, graduation requirements, and goals for the future.
Every effort will be made to accommodate students’ course requests for the following school year; however, enrollment numbers and staffing constraints may ultimately affect which courses and/or how many sections of each course are able to be scheduled. Information about any new course offerings or cancellation of courses will be shared with the student body as the information becomes available. If you have any questions or concerns about course offerings or the scheduling process, please contact your counselor.
For 2026-2027 scheduling, which occurs in the winter/spring of 2026, students will consult with their FHS counselor. Our School Counselors are divided according to the student's last name.
