The Companionship Program is one piece of the support network within the BLOCK Project that we hope to cultivate, nourish, and grow. This is a volunteer program that brings together members from our housed community and members of our BLOCK Home community who want to connect and build relationship with one another. If you are interested in participating in this program, you would be connected with a companion volunteer to meet up on a regular basis (either by phone, video chat, or in person). This can look like going for walks, having coffee together, sharing a meal, or simply talking on the phone once a week or a couple times per month. The goal of the companionship program is to cultivate a strong sense of community and to expand our circles of care with one another.
If you are interested in learning more about the Companionship Program and/or being connected with a companion volunteer, please reach out to either Angie or Phoebe!
