My name is David Natividad and I teach journalism and theatre arts. This is my 7th school year at Fabens High School and it has been an honor! I am from El Paso, TX, and graduated with a degree in journalism from UTEP. Before I began my career in education, I worked for local news stations in our area as an assistant producer and assignments editor. 

Theatre arts: students will immerse themselves into the world of theatre by learning about the basics of theatre production, which include acting, set, costume, make-up and light design, and theatre history. Students will also be introduced to the concepts of creating characters, scene writing, improvisation, and performance. 

Journalism: Students receive an introduction to journalistic skills such as news writing, photography, and page design. Advanced students will produce school publications such as the Wildcat yearbook and Wildcat Roar newspaper.
